Grown-up Dinner in Rome

We are headed out for our first grown-up dinner of the trip. Lesley's mom is going to watch the kids and we are going to go out to eat and walk Rome using Rick Steve's Rome night walk.

Looking forward to seeing all the major sites lite up. We are also going to try to complete one more geocache, which will make a total of 9 caches today! An all time record for both the families!

Love to all.

#soproudofmyman

So...Josh has taken to writing on my Facebook page. Its pretty funny.

We are in our last city: Rome. Yesterday we wandered around and went to the National Museum and then to Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. There are MANY ruins throughout the city and we happen across many of them by way of our wandering.

We have a nice apartment here with 3 bedrooms. There are 7 of us know that Lesley's mom joined us from the UK. She is sleeping in the bedroom with the kids and David and Lesley have a double bed, as do we.

I ran my last load of laundry here in the apartment and was surprised at its speedy nature! Usually Italian washers say they are running a 50min cycle that actually takes 3 hours...but this one was actually just about an hour!

Its crazy what you enjoy after having to deal with second rate appliances for 2.5 weeks! :)

See everyone in a couple days!
